The restaurant "Il Paiolo" in Via del Corso Street, is perhaps one of the longest-running places: it has been there since 1980 and for 37 years its staff have welcomed tourists and Florentines, serving them the most ancient traditional Tuscan dishes known all over the world.
The flagship is the steak or known as the T-Bone, perhaps accompanied with baked potatoes or cannellini beans in oil, but not only. Tuscan cuisine is also made of many poor dishes, which can be found in the Paiolo's menu. While the wine list brings to the table the best red wines of the region: from Chianti to Bolgheri. In the evening, the setting is made even more intimate by the light that comes exclusively from the candles.
